What is the solution to get the shifter working correctly with a 4l80e. The shifter will not line up with "D". Does the sonnax short shift shaft fix this? I hate to go with an aftermarket shifter.

Does anyone know if they are still in business?? I cant find a website for them.

I have a $1200 mult-disc PI torque converter that is at PI right now getting a restall to 3000 rpm from 3400 rpm. It has been rebuilt and ready for a new user. Im going 4l80 and no longer require this unit. I'am only asking $850 shipped. The unit will ship directly from PI to your address.

Im installing 700lbs rated springs in the front for the typhoon. The springs are 9" long relaxed. How much needs collapsing (preload) to perform correctly. RPMs instruction did mention anything about this important detail. I would guess at least an inch.(down to 8").

Thinking about upgrading my walbro 255 with the 450 in my V6 typhoon. Is this pretty much a bolt-in upgrade??

Question for the guys running 4l80 transmissions...are you using an aftermarket oil pan that holds additional quarts of fluid? Just wondering if I need to shell out $350 for a pan that holds an additional 4 qts. I installed a deeper pan in my Dmax and did not see a drop in temp, in fact temps...
